Field Trip - Columbia College: The Folded Map Exhibit

In conjunction with Columbia College Chicago’s Manifest Urban Arts Festival, the MoCP will host Columbia alum Tonika Johnson '03 for a one-day presentation of Folded Map, a project that explores the ongoing impact of Chicago segregation. All are welcome to come and meet the artist, explore the MoCP’s current exhibitions, and personally reflect on the project’s implications, both in the context of the exhibitions and their own lives. There will be a bus with transportation provided free to the first 11 attendees who sign up. Light refreshments provided on the bus.

This event is part of the Brookfield Reads! community reading initiative. This year's book is The South Side: A Portrait of Chicago and American Segregation by Natalie Moore. Please join us for the Brookfield Reads! Finale featuring author Natalie Moore on Sunday, June 2, 3 p.m. at the Brookfield Zoo.
