Event Details

Sacred sounds have been used for thousands of years by cultures around the world to bring about internal and external transformation.  Explore and practice basic chants from several yoga traditions. Learn how to incorporate them into a meditation practice and into your daily life. No musical or meditation experience required!

Each session will be stand-alone and self-contained. A basic approach to chanting will be explained at all sessions.
A different mantra will be featured at each session, including information about its historical usage, meaning and purpose. You'll also receive handouts, as well as suggestions for further practice and online resources for musical explorations.
